Tap Dance - Improvers

Course intent

The next level to noisy fun dancing!

What will I learn?

You will learn tap dance steps, sequences & combinations and learn a choreographed dance routine.

You will also be developing your body awareness and general dance skills.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This course is designed for improver tappers with at least one year’s experience of regular Tap dance lessons, including ex-Tappers wishing to return to their practice. It is not suited to complete beginners.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Tap shoes will be essential and should be brought to every lesson. You will need to wear clothing that you can easily move in such as t-shirt and leggings. Please bring a water bottle. There are fountains to refill in the centre.

What can I do when I finish the course?

Please do enrol on the next Tap Dance Improvers course and keep dancing.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
