Watercolour - Colour Mixing Workshop - All Abilities

High volumes of enquiries - July 2024

Due to high numbers of enquiries, there are currently longer waiting times on the phones and a delay to responses for voicemails, emails and enquiries.

We apologise for any inconvenience and are working as quickly as possible to get to you.

Course intent

Learn how to mix a very wide range of colours from just 6 primary colours: 2 x reds, 2 x blues and 2 x yellows. Paint colour mixing charts to build up a personal reference library so you can enjoy being able to make close colour matches to source images.

What will I learn?

From a series of step-by-step demonstrations, followed by practical work, you will learn how to: · create secondary colours (2 primary colours mixed together) and tertiary colours (3 primaries mixed together). · how to start a personal colour mixing library · match your colour mix to your source image or object · use a sample of new watercolour techniques in your painting such as different types of washes
