Nutrition - The Value of Vitamin D

High volumes of enquiries - August 2024

Due to high numbers of enquiries, there are currently longer waiting times on the phones and a delay to responses for voicemails, emails and enquiries.

We apologise for any inconvenience and are working as quickly as possible to get to you.

Course intent

We will explore why 90% of the nation is Vitamin D deficient and how it is having effects on our health, from weight issues, to osteoporosis, and high cholesterol. We will draw heavily on the research findings of Dr. Michael Holick and explore the vital role that Vitamin D plays in our health.

What will I learn?

We will explore the explosion of research on this vitamin over the last 10 years and present the key findings shown in relation to various degenerative conditions and ones you would not think are affected by having low levels of Vitamin D.

You will gain invaluable insights into how Vitamin D works with the Immune system, how much sun exposure you need, and what foods to incorporate to maximise this vitamin in your diet.
