Cookery - Yule Log & Easy Mince Pies

Course intent

Get ready for Christmas and learn to make two classic sweet festive treats, to enjoy with friends or family at home this Christmas.

This workshop intends to provide you with the skills and knowledge to create these Christmas favourites. The tutor will be using recipes that are full of flavour and realistic for you to reproduce on your own long after the workshop.

This course is designed for everybody and will suit beginner cooks.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You will be emailed a workbook. It will outline the ingredients & resources you need to bring and those that will be supplied.

Inform adultlearning@surreycc.gov.uk if you need any adaptations to the recipes.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
