Course intent

Learn to cook classic French dishes in our workshop series, Recettes de ma grand-mère (Grandma’s recipes).

What will I learn?

This 2-hour workshop will introduce you to the traditional French dish, Bœuf bourguignon. With the support of our tutor, you’ll learn how to prepare this delicious classic. You’ll also discover more about the customs of French cuisine and pick up some useful French vocabulary too!

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This workshop is suitable for all abilities. You will be required to meet specific hygiene and safety requirements, including frequent handwashing, and cleaning your own workstation and equipment during the workshop.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Please ensure you have completed the following before the first session: · Returned a completed food allergies form. The link will be emailed to you. · You will be emailed a workbook listing all you need to know for the workshop. Please read the workbook. This will outline the ingredients you need to bring with you and what is supplied.

What can I do when I finish the course?

We run Recettes de ma grand-mère workshops on the last Friday of each month, so please enrol on future workshops to discover more traditional French cuisine. If you wish to take your learning further, our French language courses are also a great next step, whether you are a complete beginner or advanced speaker.
