Course intent

Discover how nutrition can be a powerful tool in managing stress and anxiety. Did you know that 70% of all illnesses are linked with stress? In this workshop, we'll explore how stress influences various conditions and how diet can play a positive role in buffering its effects of stress.

What will I learn?

Learn which foods can support optimum nutrition and health, and delve into the mind-body connection, exploring the roles of sleep and mindfulness in stress reduction.

We’ll look at specific nutrients such as zinc, magnesium and how Vit B plays a role in how we experience stress. We’ll also take a closer look at individual foods that have a collection of stress reducing effects on our body and how these can be incorporated into recipes.

You will gain practical tools and strategies to support stress reduction and given a road map with which to alter your own diet to enhance your resilience to stress and anxiety.
