What will I learn?
You will
Assessment: You will work towards the OCNLR Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools. Learners are assessed through activities that are internally set by tutor/assessors and then, following internal moderation, learners’ portfolios of assessed evidence will be externally moderated by an OCN London External Moderator.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This is a one-year course for adults aged 19 or over.
Entry Requirements: Completion of a written and an online initial assessment and an interview.
To be successful you will need to
- attend all of your classes
- work independently
- develop your learning skills and understanding outside the classroom through use of online resources and
- make visits or volunteer in schools or learning centres for children

Gain entry to employment in a non-teaching role within a school or other educational setting.
