Intent
This is an Advanced Level course for learners from Hong Kong who have self-assessed at this level by answering the questions on the SAL website.
What will we cover?
In this highly interactive course, you will: discuss a wide range of topics and learn to express yourself with greater clarity, compare formal versus informal expressions, recognise and use an increasingly complex range of grammatical and lexical structures, and learn to recognise and use natural English expressions, common idioms, phrasal verbs and collocations. Correct pronunciation, stress and intonation will be addressed as necessary. By the end of the course you will be able to communicate more effectively and discuss a range of subjects related to yourself, society, culture, employment and the world around us.
