Course intent
Our series of one-off lectures will give you the opportunity to delve into the details of Royal History with our expert tutor. In this online lecture we will look at the life of Elizabeth of York, heiress to the House of Plantagenet and the first Tudor Queen Consort.
What will I learn?
Elizabeth of York was born on 11 February 1466, the eldest child of the Yorkist King Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville. On 18 January 1486 she married Henry VII, the first Tudor King and her children include Henry VIII. Elizabeth was in fact daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother and grandmother to successive English monarchs.

This course will be delivered through live online sessions using Zoom. To fully participate in this
course, you will need:
