Creative Writing - 'Deep Dive Into Character' Workshop

Course intent

How do you write memorable characters? Are you characters a bit flat? This one-day workshop will give you the tools to get your character leaping off the page!

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• How to develop skills to find inspiration/ideas
• Building your character’s ‘CV’
• Bringing your characters to life
• Writing tips and tasks

  Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

  All Abilities – specifically for those with some experience of writing as well as those who would like to develop their skills further.

  What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

  For the first lesson you need to bring:

• A pen and notebook

  What can I do when I finish the course?

  In discussion with your tutor, you may like to progress onto longer courses or enrol on our other Arts and Crafts courses.

  We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities.
