Course intent
In this workshop, we delve into the fascinating world of your gut microbiome and its crucial role in supporting your immune system. With millions upon millions of probiotics, also known as "friendly bacteria," inhabiting our gut, it's astonishing how little most of us know about their crucial role in our health and well-being.
What will I learn?
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of what probiotics are and how they contribute to your overall health. Learn about the crucial role probiotics play in supporting your immune system and maintaining a healthy gut.
We'll delve into the different types of probiotics, including Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Fructogliosaccharides, Plantarum, and Kefir, and explore their health benefits. Plus, uncover what happens when our gut is populated with "unfriendly" bacteria, including parasites like E.coli, C. Difficile, and Candida.
This is your opportunity to gain valuable insights and practical tips to optimise your gut health and strengthen your immune system.
