Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll master the art of fresh pasta making!
What will I learn?
Learn to knead and roll dough, creating classic shapes like tagliatelle, spaghetti, pappardelle, and farfalle. We shall make fresh herb pasta sheets that can be used in a delicious lasagne. You’ll also craft stuffed pasta such as ravioli and tortellini with delicious fillings.
You will discover how to make vibrant basil pesto and a rich, slow-cooked tomato sauce—perfect pairings for your fresh creations. Leave with a taste of Italy and the skills to recreate it at home.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is designed for a range of cookery abilities, but not absolute beginners.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Please ensure you have completed the following before the first session:
- It is essential all cookery learners click this link https://customer.surreycc.gov.uk/sal-cookery-checklist - complete and submit.
- You will be emailed a workbook. It will outline the ingredients & resources you need to bring and those that will be supplied.
- Inform adultlearning@surreycc.gov.uk if you need any adaptations to the recipes.
- A container to take your dish(es) home
