Course intent
Learn to draw a figure from life while discovering mixed media techniques. Using varied media, colour and collage, we will create images of the figure that combine observation and imagination, working from the life model. You will be working exclusively from the unclothed figure and using a variety of poses.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to: · draw the figure from life · use composition and scale · describe shape, texture and space · work with rhythm and gesture · use collage and mixed media · use abstraction in your work
