Course intent
Ballet is ideal for people wanting to improve strength & flexibility in all joints but particularly back and lower limbs. It is excellent for maintaining good balance, good posture and staying supple.
What will I learn?
You will learn advanced ballet steps, moves and travelling sequences. You will practise both barre work and floor work. Each session you will be stretching and bending all your limbs and joints, strengthening your core & posture whilst remembering the moves and bringing it all together to music.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is designed for learners with at least one year’s experience of regular Ballet dance lessons. It may also suit former ballet students wishing to return to their practice. It is not suited to complete beginners to Ballet.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Wear form-fitting clothing – nothing too baggy. Bare feet are an option for this course, but for your safety ballet shoes are recommended, not trainers. Your feet need to be visible. Your tutor can recommend the best ballet shoes for you if you wish to purchase.
Please bring a water bottle. There are fountains to refill in the centre.
All learners must click on the link below, complete and submit before the first class.

What can I do when I finish the course?
