Easter Flower Arranging Workshop - All Abilities

Course intent

The aim of this workshop is to give you the skills to create festive flower arrangements using seasonal material that will enhance your home ready for the season.

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• How to create one or two seasonal flower arrangements (depending on time/style) using seasonal flowers and foliage
• Useful tips on flower care
• How to make further festive arrangements for the home

  Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

  This course is suitable for all abilities. No previous experience is necessary – just enthusiasm and a love of flowers.

  What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

  You need to bring:

• A notebook and pen
• Scissors
• A bucket for flowers
• A plastic sheet or cloth to work on
• A small knife
• An apron and closed toe shoes
• Flowers and foliage

The fee does not cover the cost of materials. A list of materials (including flowers and foliage) will be sent out prior to the start date.

What can I do when I finish the course?

Further short courses and weekly classes are available that cover a range of topics from seasonal specialities to wedding flowers and themed designs.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
