Course intent
You will start to build a professional looking website using a free online web building tool. You will learn the basics of hypertext markup language (HTML) used to write websites and explore the basics to designing a good website.
What will I learn?
.You will:
- Identify a suitable template
- Change company or personal details
- Change the visual elements of a site
- Operate the side bar to add new elements to a site
- Add a blog
- Learn about hosting, registering a name and publishing your site.
- Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
- Anyone with some prior knowledge of computers and the Internet and would like to learn about creating a website.
- Anyone with basic mouse and keyboard skills and able to create and save files and folders.
- If you are completely new to computers, please look at our Digital Skills & Confidence courses first.
- Small Business Planning & Finances - The Basics (Online)
- How to Run and Market a Business (Online)
