Course intent
This course will review and build on skills learned in Stage 2 aiming to develop essential skills to effectively use an Apple Mac computer. It provides participants with a solid foundation in Mac navigation, customisation, and program management. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and proficiency to confidently perform tasks such as sending emails, managing files, browsing the web, organising photos, and creating and formatting documents.
All content is aligned with the national standards for essential digital skills.

- Practise managing files, folders, and then identify different storage options to backup data.
- Manage, capture and enhance photos and other digital media
- Understand how to safely use social media apps
- Use Email with attachments and edit contacts
- Efficiently browse the internet to search for information and then analyse results
- Create and format documents using text, photographs and online images
- Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
