Course intent
You will use the popular Word software, part of the Microsoft Office suite, to create basic documents, incorporating simple formatting and page layouts. Word is a powerful word-processing tool which can help you produce professional letters, CVs brochures, flyers, cards, mailshots and much more. By the end of this course, you will have acquired a solid foundation in Word, enabling you to create professional-looking documents with ease
If you use/have used a different word-processing programme, the skills learned here are easily transferrable.

- Navigate the Word layout
- Create, edit, save & print documents
- Format text and paragraphs
