Course intent

This course will give parents/carers the tools to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact and make positive changes to family life.

On this FREE online 2 hour workshop you will learn how to develop your skills and knowledge in understanding the importance of positive bedtime routines

• To understand the importance of sleep on your child’s development.
• To explore common sleep difficulties.
• To review current bedtime routines.
• To input changes to support your child with their sleep patterns.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

.If you are a parent/carer of a Primary School child 4 -11 and living in Surrey, this course will help you understand how to support your child to develop a positive sleep routine This is delivered online via Zoom

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

.What do I need to bring :

• Have your camera on
• Provide a mobile phone number and email address when you enrol so that we can contact you about your course.
• Please attend all sessions
• A reliable internet connection
• A computer/laptop/tablet or phone with a fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome), microphone and camera
• A pen and paper
• Check your email for detailed joining instructions two days before course starts.
• Fill out the `Getting to know you` form and fill out `Tell us what you think` form
• Contact us on family.learning@surreycc.gov.uk if you have any questions

What can I do when I finish the course?

.At the end of this course we will give you details of what you can move on to next, for example volunteering, further courses with Surrey Adult Learning, a college or employment
