Spanish Beyond Beginners - Module 6

Course intent

Our Beyond Beginners courses are ideal if you already have a good grasp of the basics and want to build your confidence. They will help you to widen your vocabulary, practise handling real-life situations and improve your grammar knowledge.

What will I learn?

Our language courses are designed to get you speaking the language from day one. You will also have the chance to practise your listening, reading and writing skills, and learn some essential grammar.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

Beyond Beginners language courses are for those who can already hold a basic conversation in the language and can handle simple tourist transactions. You may have completed our Beginners’ course, studied the language for two or more years, or have achieved A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

We recommend bringing paper and pen to every lesson so you can make notes.

What can I do when I finish the course?

The Beyond Beginners course runs over six modules and two years. When you have finished one module, you will be ready to move on to the next.

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
