Family Learning - Numbers Made Fun: A Parent’s Guide to Addition and Subtraction

Course intent

You will develop your skills and knowledge of maths and terms used in school so you can understand your child’s schoolwork. This will be positive for your family.

What will I learn?

Join us for a FREE online 2-hour workshop designed for parents and carers of primary-aged children. This workshop will help you improve your own skills and understand the latest methods used in schools, so you can boost your child’s confidence with maths.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

If you are a parent/carer of a child aged 4-11, this workshop will help you understand the maths and language your child will use at school. This will be delivered online via Zoom.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Please read list below:

What can I do when I finish the course?

At the end of this workshop, we will give you details of what you can move on to next, for example volunteering, further courses with Surrey Adult Learning, such as ESOL or Maths, or a join a college or get a job.
