Family Learning - Help your Child Manage Anxiety Course

Course intent

You will develop your skills and knowledge to help you to be more active in the support of your child’s anxiety. This will positively impact on your family wellbeing

What will I learn?

This is a FREE online course over two weeks- 2 hour session, where you will work with the tutor and other parents and carers to increase your understanding of anxiety in children, and to learn new ways to help them manage it.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

If you are a parent/carer or grandparent of a child aged 5-11, and living in Surrey, this course will help you learn new ways of managing your child’s worries and anxieties. This is delivered online via Zoom

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

What can I do when I finish the course?

At the end of this course we will give you details of what you can move on to next, for example volunteering, further courses with Surrey Adult Learning, a college or employment

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
