Family Learning - Exploring behaviour strategies

Course intent

This course will give parents/carers the tools to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact and make positive changes to family life.

What will I learn?

This FREE online course will run for two weeks – 2 hours a session. You will explore the different types of behaviour children display and learn what motivates children to behave in particular ways.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

If you are a parent/carer of a child of a Primary School child in Surrey then this course will help you learn new ways of promoting positive behaviour in your child. This is delivered online via Zoom

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

What can I do when I finish the course?

At the end of this course we will give you details of what you can move on to next, for example volunteering, further courses with Surrey Adult Learning, a college or employment

We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
