Course intent

Learners will develop a more challenging range of techniques and explore ways to improve their work. You will work on enhanced handling and design skills and gain a deeper understanding of a range of decorating processes that you can incorporate into your work

Those who have developed a sound skillset in pottery and claywork. For example, learners who have at least sixty hours pottery experience and:

In discussion with your tutor you may like to progress onto further pottery & claywork courses such as the Improvers & Advanced class with SAL or courses with other providers. Workshops are available for specific subjects such as throwing and turning
