Our series of one-off lectures will give you the opportunity to delve into the details of the Ancient world with our expert tutor. In this lecture, you will have a chance to explore the classic tales of the Homer’s Odyssey.
What will I learn?
The Odyssey narrates the epic journey of the hero Odysseus from Troy to his home in Ithaca. In this lecture we shall explore the tradition of heroic travel and its enduring appeal, as well as what it means to be a hero.
