Royal History - The Daughters of King George II

Course intent

In this course, you’ll discover the lives of the five Daughters of King George II.

What will I learn?

King George II and his wife, Caroline of Ansbach were the parents of five daughters, born between 1709 and 1724. Far less well known than the daughters of George III and of Queen Victoria, the daughters of George II include a Queen of Denmark, the staunchly Protestant Landgravine of Hesse-Cassel and the common ancestress of many of the royal families of Europe.
