Boost your understanding of macOS with our free Apple Mac or iPad courses. Thanks to funding from the Henrietta Parker Trustwe can also offer one day workshops for a very low fee.
Maximise your productivity and increase your confidence using the Mac operating system.
You will learn about features and navigation. And how to customise, communicate, manage photos, and handle files. This will unlock your full potential with Apple.
Our courses run over a period of weeks for a term and our workshops are on a Saturday. We have three terms in the year from September to July.
Enrolments open every term in March, July and November. If courses have already started you may still be able to join so please contact us.

Course levels and application
Free AppleMac and iPad Courses
We offer courses from stage one to stage six. Stage one courses to three progress to Entry Level 3. Stage four to six courses progress to Level 1.
To apply for the free courses, complete the application form below. We will evaluate your eligibility and skills then provide a course offer. You must accept this offer to secure your place.

One day workshops
Our one day workshops are subsidised thanks to funding from the Henrietta Parker Trust. These workshops start with an introduction and move through to Next Steps and Further Steps. To enrol for a workshops click on the link below.
Eligibility criteria for our Apple Mac and iPad courses
If you are not eligible for a free course under the above criteria, you may need to pay a fee.
As part of our commitment to improving essential skills for Surrey residents, our Basic Digital Skills courses at Surrey Adult Learning are free for adults aged 19 or over on the 31 August 2024 who meet the following eligibility criteria.
