What are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for Surrey residents. Sign up to gain new skills and fast-track your future.
For businesses, it's a great low-cost way to upskill your employees with knowledge to help your organisation evolve and grow in the future.
Courses across Surrey will go live from June 2024 through to the end of March 2025.

Which sectors and subjects are available via Skills Bootcamps?
We offer Skills Bootcamps in sectors that are crucial to Surrey's future economy. These are:
- Cyber
- Game development
- Construction - insulation
- Construction - retrofit
- Construction - heat pumps
- Green electrical - electric vehicles and solar panels
- Sustainability and carbon management
- Advanced engineering
- Health and social care
Eligibility
To take part in Skills Bootcamps, you must:
- Be aged 19 or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Live in England
- Meet residency requirements (the training provider can check this)
If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits.
Some Skills Bootcamps have additional eligibility criteria.
